What you will need to prepare Gelatin eggs:

Unflavored Gelatin (4 one ounce boxes or 1 eight ounce box) avoid using gelatin with color or sugars

Glass/Pyrex 4 cup/32 oz Measuring Bowl/Cup with a pourable spout

Wooden spoon (something that will not scratch the saucepan while stirring)

Saucepan 1 to 2 quart

Clean and assembled Gelatin egg mold
Instructions for making Gelatin Eggs with the mold:

Measure 24 ounces of water into a Pyrex 4 cup/32 oz Measuring Bowl/Cup with a pourable spout.

Open the box(es) of unflavored gelatin and open 16 packets or 4 ounces of the powder into the water.

Mix for 10 minutes. The powder should completely be dissolved in the water.

Set a burner on your stovetop to low/.medium heat.

Place the 1—to 2-quart saucepan on the stovetop and watch carefully. Stir constantly but do not boil the mixture. In approximately 10 minutes or less, you should see steam.

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool until it is slightly warm,

Pour the mixture into the Pyrex 4 cup/32 oz Measuring Bowl/Cup with a pourable spout.

Be sure your egg molds have been assembled before the next step.

Use the pouring spout to fill your gelatin egg mold through the openings at the top.

Set the molds in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.

The eggs are easiest to use while cold and retain their firmness.
