The tails are deer hide in pink, purple, gold and black. They will be sensual. I haven't tied knots in this piece, but I could if the new owner so desired. The deer hide will stretch with use. The ends will become uneven and you can trim them if you wish. It's more like a mop just now. On a scale of 1 to 10 (Velvety Soft to Very Heavy Thud) this would be a 3 with a next to no sting.
